Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin

Girls on the Run is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Meeting twice a week in small teams, trained coaches lead 3rd-5th grade girls through our research-based curriculum which includes dynamic discussions and fun activities that celebrate the joy of movement. Over the course of the eight-week program, girls develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
