Program Description

Teen Program
The Teen Program provides a positive place for middle school age youth to receive academic support, connect with peers, take on community projects and grow their talents. Participants in the Teen Program engage in educational and recreational activities, discussion groups ranging in topics from gang involvement to career choices, frequent field trips, homework club, art and music workshops, nutritious meals, team-building activities and much more. The Teen program meets Tuesday and Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm during the academic school year.

The Teen Program also offerers an 8 week summer camp for youth 6th thru 9th grade. Summer programming runs Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. During the summer camp youth engage in outdoor education and recreation, various clubs, weekly field trips and a healthy lunch.
