Summer Camp at Neighborhood House is an endless adventure for children ages 7-12. Whether your child loves running around at the park, expressing themselves artistically, or exploring the city of Madison, they will feel at home at our summer camp. Summer Camp stays fresh and exciting by introducing a new theme each week. This summer's themes are: Express Yourself, Wisconsin Week, Green Week, World Cultures, S.T.E.A.M., I Made This, Animal Adventure, and the Donut Mystery. Neighborhood House’s Summer Day Camp runs June 19—August 11 at 9:00am—4:00pm Monday through Friday. Campers are invited to sign up for the entire 8 weeks or to attend camp only during their favorite themed weeks.

Neighborhood House prides itself on its long history of fostering cultural diversity and collaboration. This summer day camp involves a plethora of community partners who teach campers various subjects through guest visits, activities, and field trips. Last year, campers ventured to Camp Randall Stadium, Vilas Zoo, Vilas Beach, Veteran's Museum, State Capitol, Chazen and Madison Museum of Modern Art, the Physics Museum, and took many trips to the local libraries. Needless to say your children will be kept busy and entertained at the Neighborhood House Summer Camp. Your child’s summer will fly by in the best way possible!

While campers do spend a lot of time learning and exploring new subjects, they also get lots of time to enjoy the summer by playing games, running around, and being a kid! Every day the children gallivant at Klief Park--playing some of their favorite games including freeze tag, obstacle courses, relay races, and blob tag--in addition to daily free choice play, games, crafts, and weekly swimming lessons and open-swim at West High School led by MSCR.
