Program Description

Afro-Latin Music & Dance, connecting to leading performers, locally and globally!

An immersion program of AfroLatin music and dance for kids. We use percussion instruments, amplified Cuban music and dance videos to get kids inspired. This program was developed in coordination with MMSD Arts Director in 2022. We are engaged with MMSD on next steps and are also engaged with a number of other programs and agencies around Madison. 

We incentivize the program with introductions and eventually visits from international performers. 

The goal is to get kids to make use of the great spaces at Warner Park, Badger Rock, Goodman, Lussier, etc, to practice and learn.
