How to Train Your Finch Robot! (Elementary School)

Provided by
Maydm

Monday, June 11th- Friday, June 15th
9am-12pm

Look! It’s a fish, no it’s a bird, no it’s a Finch Robot! Students in this class will get to learn the fundamentals of computer programming and computer science by programming actual Finch robots. Students will learn how programming and step-by-step instructions are related as they complete activities that make a robot move, turn, and change color.  We’ll cover all the basics like conditional statements, loops, functions, and recursion, but we’ll do it all by learning to control a Finch robot through fun and creative games and challenges, like using the robot to draw pictures and follow a flashlight.

*Students may be dropped off starting at 8:30 am
