Program Name

Family Farm Field Trips

Organization
Program Description

Bring the whole family out for a fun-filled afternoon in the garden or on the farm!  Each field trip will feature several activities for parents and kids of all ages: harvest and cook a healthy snack, plant seedlings, explore the worm compost bins, or create outdoor art. At the Kids' Garden, families can also visit with our resident chickens or explore the tall grass prairie. At the Youth Farm, unique experiences include meeting our honey bees or packing fresh produce to donate to the local food pantry. Activities will vary by date. Join us for one (or all!) of these hands-on garden adventures!
