Edgewood College Summer Science Camps
Provided byEdgewood Office of Science Outreach
The Office of Science Outreach is happy to share our facilities and our faculty with your children this summer. Our summer science camps are designed around our faculty interests and expertise. They love what they do and will share that enthusiasm with your children. From learning about managing aquatic ecosystems in your home aquarium, to understanding the science behind sports performance, to enjoying the tranquility of Lake Wingra from a canoe, we think we have something that will serve to ignite the imagination, further interest in science, and build skills. We work to balance the desire to be actively engaged and learn something new, with the summer dreams of quiet contemplation and enjoyment of a beautiful day.
Spend some summer days with us on the Edgewood College Campus. Science camps are held in our state of the art Sonderegger Science Center and the Mazzuchelli Biological Field Station, where students will have access to the equipment and faculty usually reserved for advanced study. Our 55 acre campus also offers woods, trails, a boardwalk through the marsh and access to tranquil Lake Wingra.
Science camps for children entering grades 1-9 in the fall are offered during the morning: 9:00-noon, and the afternoon from 1:00-4:00. If you are looking for an all-day experiences you can package two camps together and we will provide lunch hour activities and supervision free of charge.
