Organization
Program Description

Come feel the energy in the air! A hands-on Expo, open to the public, will be held from 12:00 pm - 2:45 pm during the WI KidWind Challenge. There will be interactive science stations to explore related to energy, sustainability and climate, and you can watch as teams test and refine their model wind turbines and solar structures.

  • Explore ~20 hands-on science activities
  • Interact with scientists and learn about their career journeys
  • Meet the people who design and build solar and wind farms in Wisconsin
  • Build a turbine and test it to see how much energy you can produce in a competition-grade wind tunnel
  • Discover the KidWind Challenge and see participants in action
  • And more!

Everybody is welcome to come explore energy. No need to register, just drop on by!
