Wisconsin Union at UW-Madison

The nonprofit Wisconsin Union is the community heart of the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. Often described as the “living room of campus,” it has created experiences for a lifetime and beloved community spaces since its founding in 1907.

The Wisconsin Union team operates multiple buildings throughout downtwon Madison, including Memorial Union on the shore of Lake Mendota and Union South near Camp Randall Stadium, offering spaces to eat, relax, learn, and celebrate year-round. The Union team hosts more than 1,000 events annually, including some family-friendly options.
