History
Established in 2015, Studio Dansu provides students with a fun and safe learning environment that encourages students to strive for their personal best. Instructors are highly qualified and teach in a serious and professional manner, while also maintaining an exciting and friendly atmosphere. The studio is equipped to provide the highest quality of movement. A mirrored wall allows students to check out the body alignment, group unison, and to provide assistance while learning a variety of techniques. Floors are made from a floating subfloor that ensures that dancing bodies of all ages are protected from stress and excessive fatigue, thereby avoiding pain, joint stress, and injury. The lobby is designed for parents to view their children on a large screen TV with a live video feed from the studio. This is an ideal way for parents to keep up to date with their child's progress, while also eliminating the distraction that a viewing window or having family members inside the studio can cause.
Meet the Business Owner
Miss Jayme has been working and performing in the Madison area for over 30 years with Children's Theatre of Madison, Forte Studios, Madison Ballet, Madison School and Community Recreation, Madison Theatre Guild, Middleton Players Theatre, Musical Theatre of Madison, Oregon Straw Hat Players, Stageworks Projects, and West Side Performing Arts.
She has a degree in Theatre and Music from UW-Eau Claire, and a second degree in Dance from UW-Madison. Jayme is very happy to return to her home town and bring this performing arts studio to the Madison residents. She always dreamt of opening a dance studio when she was little, and is so happy to see this dream become a reality.
