Program Description

Once you've taken our entry level classes, where do you go to work on improving your new skills? Kayak Adventures is a week-long course that will refresh your kayak skills and add plenty of new ones. Highlights of the week include three day-long trips starting from different parks and beaches around the area. The goal is to solidify the skills you learned in earlier camps and move you beyond the beginner stage while having tons of fun!

Courses open to those who can perform the following:
-Maintain a safe body position while attempting skills and activities appropriate to the course.
-Hold breath while under water and, while in the water wearing a properly fitted life jacket, be able to independently turn from a face down to a face up position keeping head above water.
-Effectively communicate with instructor and other course participants.
-Manage all mobility and personal care independently or with reasonable assistance.
