Free Middle School Summer Camp at Neighborhood House!
Neighborhood House’s Middle School Day Camp
Middle School Camp is open to all youth entering 6th through 8th grades. Camp takes place Monday through Friday from 8am - 4pm at Neighborhood House (29 S Mills St). Each week consists of activities, skill building, field trips and fun! Parents must provide transportation to and from camp.
Camp will have 4 focus areas across eight weeks - art, cooking, sports & outdoors, and civics & community. Campers can sign up for all 8 weeks or just the focus areas that interest them. It is recommended that you sign up for the both weeks of each focus area, each week will have new and different activities.

Weeks 1 & 2 The Art Bunch June 20 - July 1
Dive into all kinds of art! We will be painting, sculpting, drawing, writing... and that's just the start! We will visit museums and art workshops.
Weeks 3 & 4- Creative Cooking July 5 - 15
Get ready to do some cooking and eating! We will make recipes from all around the world, learn new techniques and about nutrition and meet local chefs.
Weeks 5 & 6 Explore Sports & Outdoors July 18 - 29
Discover your athletic abilities and immerse yourself in nature! We will be exploring in the outdoors in a variety of ways - swimming, playing sports and games, hiking, and more!
Weeks 7 & 8 - Civics and Our Community Aug 1 - 12
Learn about the world you live in and the impact you can make. We will participate in community service projects, visit museums, and meet with community leaders.
