Program Description

Upper elementary and middle school students are invited to Kids Code Madison, a weekly, drop-in coding club. A volunteer-led program, youth can code their own interactive stories, games, and animations using programs and tools like Scratch, Python and JavaScript.
New and experienced kid programmers welcome!

Kids Code Madison is a club, not a class, so you can come any week or every week. New programmers will be given some direction with tutorials and help from volunteers.  Each week we will teach a “sushi” (mini, bite sized) coding skill and have a hardware project available. Kids Code Madison meets at Hawthorne Library, 2707 East Washington Ave.
